When we last saw our mighty SE/30, we had a fully working system. Unfortunatly, there are still long-term stability issues with the machine. I ended up re-capping the analog board in an attempt to help with video jitters. I also swapped out the power supply as well.

I was able to get the SE/30 online using an external BlueSCSI. The BlueSCSI toolbox application made it easier to move files into the system. I was able to use the WiFi from the Pi on the BlueSCSI to get the SE/30 online. It's emulating a DaynaPORT SCSI/Link network device and the documentation can be found here. I ended up using MacOS 7.1 and MacTCP. It works just fine and it had enough power to easily run Netscape Navigator.
I have sourced an additional logic board, but I don't think it will be ready for MARCHintosh 2025. I was originally inspired by MARCHintosh in 2023 to work on this project and it is disappointing if I miss my goals this year, but I'm in a great place to potentially have two SE/30 systems up and running for 2026. I'll have enough spare parts, I just need to find a CRT tube and pick up a clear case from MacEffect's latest run.
