When this blog was started I was persistently trying to learn new things and obtain new skills and certifications. I have been proud of what I've accomplished. In the past year or two I've passed some exams from Apple and VMware, but it wasn't important enough for me to note on this site. A recent job change opened up an opportunity to get into something that I've always had an interest in -- networking. Years ago I took some Cisco CCNA classes and I've took an interest with the networking at the data center I had previously worked at.
I was able to take my knowledge and with some studying, pass the JNCIA.
Here's what I used for study materials:
- Junos for Dummies
- JNCIA-Junos Study Guide—Part 1
- JNCIA-Junos Study Guide—Part 2
- SRX100H (~$150 on ebay) + serial to USB / console setup
- Junos Genius App
- Pre-assessment Exam (bottom of page)
